Phu Tho has a potential product that has achieved 5-star OCOP certification

According to the results of the approval, assessment, scoring, and granting of product certificates under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program of Phu Tho province in 2024, the whole province has 15 products that have achieved 4-star OCOP certification, of which Tan Son, Thanh Son, and Ha Hoa districts are the 3 localities with the largest number of qualified products.

Phu Tho has a potential product that has achieved 5-star OCOP certification.

Districts with products that have achieved 4-star OCOP certification include: 3 products of Tan Son district, all from the Long Coc safe tea production cooperative (Long Coc Premium Bat Tien Tea, Bat Tien Dinh Tea, Dinh Specialty Tea); 3 products of Thanh Son district, including Truong Foods Sour Meat with Garlic and Chili Flavor of Lita Foods Joint Stock Company, Ha Diep Thinh Meat, and Ha Diep Sour Meat with Garlic and Chili Flavor of Thanh Son Sour Meat Cooperative - Phu Tho; 3 products of Ha Hoa district, all belonging to Bien Xanh Trading and Service Company Limited Branch (Bien Xanh Melon, Bien Xanh Melon, Bien Xanh Banana).

Long Coc Commune Safe Tea Production Cooperative produces and processes tea according to VietGAP standards.

2 products of Thanh Thuy district, both belonging to Maika Food Company Limited (Maika Matcha Tea, Milk Matcha Tea); Lam Thao district has 2 products, both belonging to Hoa Lua Company Limited (Holusa Ancient Soy Sauce, Holusa Soy Sauce Essence); two districts have one product that meets the standards: Phu Ninh district with Duc Ty Oolong Green Tea of Duc Ty Tea Company Limited and Cam Khe district with premium Hen Da Tea—Hen Da Tea Production and Processing Cooperative.

In particular, through this year’s scoring results, Phu Tho has a product with the potential to meet the 5-star OCOP standard, which is the Con Cui Gift Set (including Con Cui sour meat, Con Cui salted meat, and Con Cui sour sausage) of Lita Foods Joint Stock Company, Thanh Son town, Thanh Son district. It is known that the People’s Committee of Phu Tho province has requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to review and complete the complete and strict dossier of this product according to regulations to soon submit to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for evaluation and recognition of national OCOP products.
