Phu Tho Tourism Association Congress for the 2024-2029 term

On December 19, the Phu Tho Tourism Association held the Congress for the 2024-2029 term, marking a period of effective operation and setting out development directions for the next term.

Representatives of the Vietnam Tourism Association presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

During the past term, Phu Tho Tourism Association attracted 106 members, including 86 enterprises and 20 individuals. The Association has coordinated with agencies, units, and enterprises to implement many practical programs, contributing significantly to the development of the province’s tourism industry; focus on training and human resource development, with more than 300 training sessions for tourism staff; competitions on tourism and services were also organized, encouraging the improvement of service quality at business establishments. Accommodation establishments have invested in and upgraded facilities and equipment to ensure high ranking standards, meeting the needs of domestic and foreign tourists.

Travel agencies continue to exploit and develop new tourism products and tour programs; the Association has actively supported businesses to innovate products, focusing on exploiting intra-provincial tourism such as Xuan Son, Long Coc, and cultural and spiritual tourism routes, school tourism... imbued with the culture of the Ancestral Land.

At the same time, promotional activities on digital platforms have been strongly implemented to help customers easily access tourism products and promote cooperation in tourism development through major local and domestic events.

The new Executive Committee was introduced to the Congress.

In addition, the Association actively participates in charity work, supporting disadvantaged families in the province, thereby enhancing the image and social responsibility of the tourism industry.

Entering the new phase, Phu Tho Tourism Association has set out key goals for the new term: continuing to increase membership, organizing exchanges, improving professional capacity, and promoting tourism promotion using digital technology, researching, and developing green tourism products, special tourism, etc.

In addition, the Association will organize investment promotion activities to attract resources to develop infrastructure and tourism products and strengthen cooperation programs with localities at home and abroad, which are also identified as key strategies, promoting the sustainable development of Phu Tho tourism.

With the spirit of democracy and high unity, the Congress elected 21 comrades to the Executive Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Tourism Association for the 2024-2029 term and approved the draft Resolution of the Congress and the Action Program to implement the Resolution. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan, Director of Dat Viet Xanh Investment and Tourism Joint Stock Company, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial Tourism Association for the 2024-2029 term.

The leader of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Committee presented the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee to the Provincial Tourism Association.

On this occasion, the Provincial Tourism Association was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; 5 organizations and 6 individuals of the Association received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Tourism Association, and a number of collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Tourism Association for their positive contributions to tourism in the Land of Ancestors in particular and tourism in Vietnam in general.
