Press conference on the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - Hung Kings’ Temple Festival and Fatherland Culture-Tourism Week in the year of Dragon 2024

On the morning of April 9 (the third day of the third lunar month), Phu Tho Province held a press conference to inform about Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - Hung Kings’ Temple Festival and Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week in the year of Dragon 2024.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, leaders of the Department of Information and Communications announced a summary of the content and program of Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - Hung Kings’ Temple Festival and Fatherland Culture-Tourism Week in 2024.

Accordingly, the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - Hung Kings’ Temple Festival and the Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week in the year of Dragon 2024 are organized by the People’s Committee of Phu Tho Province from April 9-18 (ie from the 1st to 10th of the Lunar March) at the Hung Kings’ Temple Historical Relic Site as well as districts, towns and cities in the province.

Along with the main activities are the Death Anniversary of the National Patriarch Lac Long Quan and Incense Offering to Patriarch Au Co; Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary and offering flowers at the relief “Uncle Ho talking to officers and soldiers of the Pioneer Army”; Incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings of districts, towns and cities in the province, people at home and abroad will be able to attend activities such as: Opening program of Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - Hung Kings’ Temple Festival and Fatherland Culture -Tourism Week in the year of Dragon 2024; art program with the theme “Convergence of rivers and mountains” and high-altitude fireworks display at the southern stage, Van Lang Park Lake; Viet Tri city open boating tournament in the year of Dragon 2024; street music program “Viet Tri livemusic” and many other diverse and unique activities.

Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Dai Dung affirmed: Phu Tho Province focuses on directing to ensure the festival to be organized thoughtfully and safely with a solemn, and deeply community-based ceremony; The festival harmoniously combining traditional and modern folk cultural activities, sports and tourism events, expressing the unique cultural identity of the Fatherland, creating widespread influence and satisfaction for compatriots and tourists from all over to visit Hung Kings’ Temple.

Up to this point, the preparations for Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - Hung Kings’ Temple Festival and Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week in the year of Dragon 2024 have been completed, ready to welcome compatriots from near and far and international tourists to attend the festival. At this year’s Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - Hung Kings’ Temple Festival and Fatherland Culture-Tourism Week, Phu Tho Province is expected to welcome 2-3 million visitors. Therefore, the Organizing Committee has developed plans to ensure security, order and traffic safety; fire and explosion prevention, epidemic prevention and environmental sanitation to serve compatriots and tourists coming from all over.
