Located in the northwest of Tam Son commune, Sang Son Mountain is likened to a watercolor painting amidst the vast forest—a place where the beauty of majestic mountains, pristine waterfalls, and serene spiritual spaces converge. Not only is it the “green lungs” of the locality, but it is also expected to become an attractive destination for eco-tourism, resorts, and spiritual retreats in the province.
The Sang Son mountain range connects with the Tam Dao range, standing as a sacred, mysterious land covered by sprawling primeval forests.
The peak of Sang Mountain rises about 640m above sea level. Looking down from above, the continuous stretches of green forest create a majestic landscape, deeply imbued with the beauty of “scenic mountains and elegant waters”.

The special highlight of Sang Mountain’s peak is Bay (Flying) Waterfall—a cascade formed by water veins from the mountaintop.

Every summer, when the weather gets sultry, Bay Waterfall becomes a favorite destination for tourists who are passionate about exploration and hands-on experiences.

The journey of trekking through the forest and crossing streams to reach the waterfall not only brings a sense of conquering nature but also helps visitors find tranquility amid the fresh atmosphere of the mountains and forests.

Amidst that majestic natural scenery, Tue Duc Truc Lam Zen Monastery emerges serenely next to Bo Lac Lake, creating a harmony between nature and spiritual life.

The peaceful atmosphere at the Buddha’s gate further enhances Sang Son Mountain as a destination that helps visitors find inner peace after the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The harmonious combination of pristine natural landscapes, a rich ecosystem, and cultural and spiritual values has created a unique appeal for the Sang Son Mountain complex.

In the future, with the untouched beauty of the vast forest along with focused investment and sustainable exploitation, Sang Son Mountain will become a distinctive destination on the province’s tourism map.
