Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary

On the evening of October 14, Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Duy Dong presented a bouquet of flowers to congratulate the leadership and staff of Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park Co., Ltd.

Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park was granted an investment registration certificate by the former Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee on October 14, 2015. In November 2017, construction of the park began in Thien Ke and Tam Hop communes, Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province (now Binh Xuyen and Binh Nguyen communes, Phu Tho Province).

After more than a year of construction, Phase 1 of the project — covering 104 hectares — was completed with a modern and synchronized power and water supply infrastructure and officially put into operation in March 2020. In Phase 2, Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park Co., Ltd. continued to invest in and complete an additional 109 hectares, bringing the total area of the park to 213 hectares.

Currently, Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park has achieved a 96% occupancy rate, with 60 enterprises from countries such as Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong (China), and Vietnam leasing land, factories, and offices, employing approximately 14,000 workers.

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Ito Naoki spoke at the ceremony.

Speaking at the celebration, Mr. Kenta Kawanabe, General Director of Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park Co., Ltd., expressed his deep gratitude to the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, provincial departments and agencies, and business partners operating in the park for their companionship and support that have contributed to the company’s achievements over the past decade.

In his congratulatory remarks, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Duy Dong emphasized that with the mission of becoming a model, modern, and environmentally friendly industrial park contributing to the province’s socio-economic development, Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park has, over the past decade, built a synchronized, modern infrastructure and provided international-standard industrial services. It has successfully attracted high-quality, high value-added projects, especially from major corporations and enterprises from Japan and other developed countries.

This stands as a vivid testament to the deepening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan, established in November 2023.

Chairman Tran Duy Dong expressed his belief that with its 10-year development journey, Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park will continue to grow stronger, becoming a reliable destination for both domestic and foreign investors, and making an increasingly significant contribution to the province’s and the region’s socio-economic development.
