In the context of a world that is increasingly globalized and facing environmental challenges and climate change, finding sustainable development solutions is no longer a choice but has become an urgent requirement. Brand development associated with green factors - using environmentally friendly materials and technologies, ensuring the environment - plays an increasingly important role in the development strategy of enterprises.
Viet Tri Paper Joint Stock Company uses paper scrap as raw materials for production, contributing to reducing the consumption of raw materials, fuel, and energy.
Following that trend, many enterprises have seized this opportunity to promote their brands, improve business efficiency by building trust in brands through commitments to social and environmental responsibility, putting consumer health issues at the heart of product development, and linking product development with sustainability commitments. This is also an opportunity for businesses to develop in a more sustainable direction, towards more community values.
Bambamboo Company Limited, Thanh Thuy District, produces more than 100 different products from bamboo, such as trays, cups, straws, bathroom accessories, etc., of which some products are popular and exported to many markets. Mr. Vu Anh Van, Director of the Company, said: “Bamboo products are quite close and friendly to the environment, contributing to changing people’s thinking towards using materials that are safe for consumers' health. Not only are they ordinary items, the products are also aesthetically pleasing and useful, so they can completely replace plastic products, disposable products that are difficult to decompose and harmful to the environment. The current trend of businesses and production facilities using environmentally safe materials will increase brand value and strengthen consumer trust.”.
Along with green materials, green energy, with its outstanding advantages in environmental protection and carbon emission reduction, is becoming the focus of the global sustainable development strategy. Green energy contributes to stimulating the creativity and innovation of businesses as they seek new ways to optimize their processes, products, and services while creating new markets and business models towards sustainable development.
Promoting propaganda and encouraging the development of rooftop solar power has attracted investment resources from businesses, individuals, and households in the province to participate in installation and use. The whole province has developed 210 rooftop solar power systems with a capacity of over 3,100 kWp.
Toan Cau Xanh Vina Co., Ltd., Hop Hai-KKinh Ke Industrial Cluster, Lam Thao District, specializes in producing high-quality canvas for export to European, American, and Australian markets with an average output of over 800 tons/month. Mr. Ly Ngoc Cong, Director of the Company, said: “Currently, many of the company’s export markets have issued standards and rules of conduct responsible for the environment, including requirements on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, saving energy, and using clean energy sources. This forces businesses to change if they want to stand firm in global value chains. Currently, our company is deploying rooftop solar power installations, which, when put into operation, will contribute to reducing energy costs and satisfying the conditions of partners on using green energy.”.
Green production has promoted the development of using new energy, renewable energy, raw materials, fuels, and new materials to replace traditional resources. Along with the state’s policies to encourage green production, businesses, producers, and traders themselves need to be determined to strongly transform, especially raising awareness in environmental protection, responding to climate change, and taking green production and business as a strategy and competitive advantage.
