Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee Inspects Progress of Urban and Social Housing Projects in Xuan Hoa and Phuc Yen Wards

On the afternoon of July 9, Vu Viet Van, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, together with leaders of relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities, inspected the implementation progress of several urban development and social housing projects in Xuan Hoa and Phuc Yen wards.

Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee Vu Viet Van inspects the TMS Land Hung Vuong Residential Area Project in Phuc Yen Ward.

The delegation first visited the TMS Land Hung Vuong Residential Area Project in Phuc Yen Ward, developed by TMS Real Estate Joint Stock Company. The project covers 18.57 hectares with a total investment of nearly VND 687 billion. To date, compensation and site clearance have been substantially completed for 178,080 square metres.

The delegation also inspected the Hung Vuong Urban Residential Area Project in Phuc Yen Ward, invested by Than Ha Trading and Construction Co., Ltd. The project occupies nearly 6.8 hectares, including a 15-storey social housing building comprising approximately 524 apartments on a land area of 7,324 square metres. Compensation and site clearance have reached approximately 98% completion. However, the investor has not yet been allocated land to commence construction.

The delegation also reviewed the Xuan Hoa New Urban Area Project, developed by Hoai Nam Construction Investment Joint Stock Company. Covering nearly 34 hectares with a total investment exceeding VND 1.187 trillion, the project includes a social housing component consisting of a nine-storey apartment building with 500 units and a total floor area of more than 38,500 square metres. Compensation and site clearance have been completed for 338,978 square metres, while overall construction has reached approximately 90%.

Following the site inspections, Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van acknowledged the efforts of local authorities and project developers in implementing the projects. He directed the authorities of Xuan Hoa and Phuc Yen wards to accelerate compensation and site clearance in order to hand over cleared land to investors as soon as possible.

He also instructed project developers to promptly complete the necessary documentation and detailed designs for the social housing components to ensure construction begins as scheduled. Relevant departments and agencies were requested to strengthen coordination and proactively resolve difficulties related to administrative procedures, land allocation, and investment so as to facilitate the timely implementation of both urban development and social housing projects.
