He emphasized: This was the opening visit to the cooperation that has been exchanged within the framework of the program "the 12th East Asia Local and Regional Government Congress held Linyi in late 2023, so that the two sides promote real exchanges and cooperation. This would be the foundation for promoting development cooperation of Linyi and Phu Tho in particular, and other provinces and cities of China in general.

With the message “Promoting connectivity, strengthening cooperation”, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Hai expressed the expectation that in the forthcoming period, the two sides will strengthen exchanges in areas of mutual interest, especially in areas with potential and strength. Thereby, it contributed to the expansion of the export market for Phu Tho goods such as electronics, automobiles, new building materials, textiles, processed food, mainstream agricultural goods...; while supporting local search for partners, supplies of raw materials, equipment, production technology for enterprises on the ground. As part of the plan, Phu Tho would promote investment and regional logistics development. Therefore, with the advantage of the “Logistic Capital of China”, he suggested Linyi supporting the invitation to invest in the development of the logistics system of Phu Tho province, contributing to the economic-social, especially industrial-services development. Promote investment cooperation in high-tech agriculture, intelligent agricultural applications, cyclical. Interested in facilitating the access of Phu Tho province’s export-producing enterprises to the markets of Linyi in particular and China in general. At the same time, promoting cooperation in the development of people’s diplomacy between the two localities; coordinating the organization of events, promoting investment, tourism, exchange of traditional arts and culture, thereby contributing to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the authorities and people of the two sides.

In terms of education, he suggested Linyi be interested in funding scholarships for long-term and short-term teachers of Hung Vuong University at educational institutions in the province of Shandong in order to enhance the Chinese language teaching capacity of Vietnamese students.

The Vice Mayor thanked the leadership of Phu Tho province for the warm and attentive reception of the delegation. With its roots as the cultural hub of the country, Linyi is the largest city in Shandong province and the most populous city in the country with a historical depth to be proud of. Currently, Linyi has established eight economic pillars with more than 4,800 enterprises; GDP is the 20th largest province-level city in China.

The Linyi delegation visited Langer Fine Arts Materials Co.,Ltd (Vietnam) in Cam Khe Industrial Park.

He expressed the wish that in the future, Linyi and Phu Tho would actively promote the potential and strengths of both sides; strengthen friendly cooperative relations, have policy mechanisms to encourage, create favourable conditions and incentives for the units, enterprises of the two sides to participate in the promotion of investment, trade and logistics.

On this occasion, he invitated the Phu Tho province to participate in the export trade fair of Linyi in September of 2024.
