Linking production, purchasing, processing, and distribution; investing in modern technology; and expanding digital sales channels — these are the key strategies that help Que Viet Essence Joint Stock Company (Tam Duong Commune, Phu Tho Province) bring local agricultural products to larger markets.
Products of Que Viet Essence Joint Stock Company are exported to foreign markets.
Founded in 2018, Que Viet Essence JSC initially specialized in producing and supplying turmeric starch and soybean sprouts, which quickly gained positive market reception.
Recognizing that local agricultural products were abundant yet fragmented and largely produced on a small, spontaneous scale, Director Nguyen Kao Toan was determined to build a closed-loop production and consumption chain. His goal was to create nutritious, health-oriented products made from Vietnamese farm produce — thereby enhancing the value of local crops and improving farmers’ incomes.
After seven years, the company has developed a wide range of products catering to diverse customer needs, such as turmeric starch, turmeric-honey tablets, soybean sprouts, cereal powder, and herbal tea. Among them, three flagship products — Que Viet Brown Rice Tea, Que Viet Nutritional Cereal, and Que Viet Turmeric Starch — have been certified as three-star OCOP products at the provincial level.
To ensure a stable source of raw materials, the company signs contracts to purchase clean agricultural produce from local farmers and cooperatives. From 2019 to 2021, the company cooperated with the Center for High-Tech Agricultural Biotechnology Experimentation (Hanoi) and Dai Tu Cooperative (Lien Chau Commune) to produce DT84 soybeans following safe agricultural standards, providing high-quality input for its soybean sprout products.
The company regularly purchases over 10 tons of brown rice and more than 7 tons of various beans each month from Vinh Phu and Lien Chau communes. In addition, it sources premium nuts such as macadamia, walnuts, almonds, and cashews from other provinces to diversify its product line.
At the same time, Que Viet invests in modern processing lines that use no additives, preservatives, or artificial coloring. By strictly adhering to production standards, the company has obtained ISO 22000:2018 certification and FDA approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
To date, Que Viet has established over 600 branches and distributors domestically and abroad, with an average monthly revenue exceeding VND 1 billion, creating stable employment for more than 20 workers.
With its systematic, innovative approach and close collaboration with farmers, Que Viet Company is contributing to the expansion of local agricultural products, affirming the Vietnamese brand on both domestic and international consumer markets.
