As of the end of August 2026, Phu Tho province disbursed nearly 10,000 billion VND in public investment capital, reaching 36.1% of the total assigned capital plan and 42.1% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.
Notably, communes and wards disbursed 5,342 out of 8,067 billion VND, achieving 66.2% of their assigned capital plans. Across the entire province, 138 communes and wards achieved disbursement rates higher than the general average, with 84 communes and wards disbursing over 60% of their assigned capital plans.

The project to renovate and expand National Highway 2, the Vinh Yen – Viet Tri section, is accelerating progress, contributing to driving public investment capital disbursement.
The Provincial People’s Committee directed that from now until the end of the year, departments, boards, sectors, and localities must maintain high focus on public investment disbursement work, closely tracking each project and time milestone; while proactively reviewing and categorizing projects by urgency level and investor disbursement capability to apply appropriate solutions.
Assigned units must accelerate investment procedure processing under the “Green Lane” policy, shortening processing times by a minimum of 50%; while building specific progress charts and plans that clearly define responsibilities for each project.
For delayed projects, localities must focus on definitively resolving difficulties and obstacles—especially regarding compensation, site clearance, raw materials, waste dumping sites, and construction material prices. On-site inspection work will continue to be strengthened to promptly remove arising issues; while resolutely handling weak contractors that fail to meet progress requirements.
In particular, Project Management Boards holding large capital allocations in the Hoa Binh and Vinh Phuc areas must strive to elevate their disbursement rates; regularly review the disbursement capacity of each project, and proactively adjust or reallocate capital from slow-progressing projects to those with strong capital absorption capabilities.
