In his opening remarks, Mr. Vu Xuan Chuong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association of Phu Tho province, emphasized that after a century of development alongside the nation, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has firmly established itself as a pioneering force on the ideological and cultural front and as the voice of the Party, the State, and the people. In Phu Tho, in recent years, the local press has seen significant development in content, form, and operational methods, increasingly affirming its essential role and standing in social life. The local journalism community continues to strive for innovation and to enhance the quality of content and forms of communication, thereby contributing to the dissemination of positive values throughout society.
He stressed that in the context of press restructuring and the province’s transition toward a multimedia model, journalists must adapt by transforming their mindset, embracing technology, and improving their skills, professional integrity, and dedication. This is a pivotal moment for Phu Tho’s press to affirm its role and make meaningful contributions to the ongoing development of the Fatherland.
Representing the provincial leadership, Mr. Phung Khanh Tai extended his congratulations to the province’s journalists on the centennial of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and praised their active contributions to Phu Tho’s socio-economic development.
