Comrade Truong Quoc Huy appointed as Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee

On September 30, at the 1st Congress of the Party Organization of Phu Tho Province, the Politburo announced its decision to appoint Comrade Truong Quoc Huy - Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee - to serve as Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term. The Executive Committee of the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Organization for the 2025 - 2030 tenure was officially introduced at the Congress.

According to Directive No 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo, Party Congresses in localities that have undergone consolidation or merger during this term will not elect a new Party Executive Committee or delegates to higher-level congresses; instead, appointments will be made directly by the higher-level Party committees as stipulated.

Pursuant to the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam and relevant regulations and procedures, the Politburo issued Decision No 2321-QDNS/TW dated September 10, 2025 on the appointment of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; Decision No 2298-QDNS/TW dated September 6, 2025 on the appointment of the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; and Decision No 2412-QDNS/TW on the reassignment, deployment, and appointment of personnel to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the position of Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Organization comprises 97 members, and the Standing Committee includes 7 members.

Authorized by the Politburo, Comrade Hoang Dang Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Party Central Organization Commission - announced the Politburo’s decisions on personnel affairs and on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Deputy Secretaries of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
