The project is oriented toward development following a synchronized, modern industrial park model, aiming to attract secondary investors in high-tech industries, supporting industries, and clean, environmentally friendly manufacturing.

During execution, the investor made efforts to fulfill tasks according to plans, coordinating with relevant agencies and units to drive project progress.

However, to date, the project faces several difficulties and obstacles regarding site clearance, resettlement, and transport connection infrastructure; while 1st phase land allocation and land leasing have not been granted.

In addition, several procedures and legal dossiers related to working drawing designs, fire prevention and fighting designs, and contractor selection have not been completed according to regulations, affecting the project’s commencement schedule.

Delivering concluding remarks at the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh acknowledged and highly evaluated the proactiveness and efforts of the investor, alongside the coordination of departments, sectors, and localities during the implementation of the Phu Ninh Industrial Park Project.

He affirmed that this is a project of vital importance in attracting investment, driving industrial growth, generating growth momentum, and contributing to achieving the province’s double-digit economic growth targets.

However, project implementation progress has not met requirements and set plans, demanding agencies, units, and the investor to further elevate their sense of responsibility and act decisively in execution to guarantee the schedule of defined tasks.

Emphasizing the province’s commitment to accompanying the project throughout implementation, he requested relevant departments, sectors, units, and localities to coordinate closely with the investor, focusing on decisively resolving remaining work items—especially Phase 1 compensation, site clearance, and resettlement, alongside finalizing dossiers and procedures according to regulations.

Tasks must be specifically assigned and deployed urgently and synchronously, ensuring full fulfillment of construction commencement conditions and issuing the project commencement notice no later than November 15, 2026.

He requested departments, sectors, localities, units, and the investor to regularly inspect and review progress, proactively handling contents within their authority. For matters exceeding authority, units must promptly report and propose to the province for consideration and guidance.

On the investor’s side, he requested preparing financial resources, coordinating closely with local authorities in site clearance and disbursing compensation, support, and resettlement payments.
