Conference on Organizational Streamlining and Personnel Affairs

On February 24, the Provincial Party Standing Committee convened a key provincial leadership conference to discuss central government directives and personnel matters.

At the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bùi Minh Châu thoroughly conveyed several key documents from the Central Government, including: Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW, dated February 14, 2025, issued by the Politburo and the Secretariat, regarding certain tasks and measures to continue reorganizing and streamlining the political system’s organizational structure in 2025. The Draft Plan for Implementing Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW, outlining specific actions to execute the restructuring and optimization of the political system’s organizational apparatus in 2025.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that, according to Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW dated February 14, 2025, issued by the Politburo, the Secretariat requires Party committees and organizations at all levels to focus on effectively implementing key tasks and ensuring progress as scheduled. This includes continuing the restructuring and improving the organizational apparatus of the political system in 2025, for the 2025-2030 term, and finalizing the political system model. Notably, this includes the reorganization of district-, commune-, and provincial-level administrative units, as well as the consolidation of certain political and social organizations into the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Following this, the conference carried out procedures related to personnel work. Mr. Bui Dinh Thi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Organization Commission, announced the resolution of the Provincial Party Standing Committee regarding the reassignment and appointment of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Mass Mobilization Commission, to the position of Head of the Provincial Internal Affairs Commission.

The conference also announced the resolution of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel appointments, including:

The reassignment and nomination of Comrade Bùi Quang Thái, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Office, for election to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the position of Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term.

At the conference, the resolution of the Provincial Party Standing Committee was also announced regarding the reassignment and nomination of personnel, including the reassignment and nomination of Mr. Bui Quang Thai, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Office, for election to the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the position of Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term; the reassignment and nomination of Mr. Hoang Duc Cong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Business Sector Party Committee, for election to the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term; the reassignment and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Hai Quan, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Internal Affairs Commission for a five-year term; and the reassignment and appointment of Mr. Le Duc Thuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Business Sector Party Committee, to the position of Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Office for a five-year term.
