Expanding Ho Chi Minh Road connecting Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway
Implementing the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the Vietnam Road Administration will implement 6 projects for investment and development of traffic infrastructure, including the project for “Upgrading and expanding Ho Chi Minh Road connecting Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway and IC9 intersection of Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway”.
Accordingly, the proposed investment route has an estimated length of about 2.5km, with the scale of a 4-lane highway, and a speed of 100 - 120km/h. The starting point at Km0+00 connects to IC9 intersection of Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway. The end point at Km2+500 connects to the end point of Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway and Provincial Road 315B.
The estimated total project investment is 1,118 billion VND from the medium-term public investment capital for the 2021 - 2025 period, the 2025 - 2030 period and other legal capital sources. Regarding progress, the project is expected to start construction in the second quarter of 2024 and be completed and put into use about 24 months from the start date.
