Addressing the assembly, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung affirmed that Japan consistently stands as one of Vietnam’s foremost premium partners. Detailing the province’s industrial landscape, Governor Tran Duy Dong announced that as of June 2026, Japan leads as a premier investor in Phu Tho with 78 operational projects representing an accumulated registered capital surpassing $2.3 billion. Within the province, Meiko previously injected $350 million into a high-end Printed Circuit Board (PCB) factory at the Left Bank of the Da River Industrial Park.
