Agricultural production and processing is one of the important sectors, promoting economic development, increasing agricultural structure, expanding export markets, and promoting the development of other service sectors. Currently, enterprises and cooperatives producing and processing agricultural products have been actively improving product quality, innovating technology, researching new products, and meeting the needs and tastes of consumers.

Improving the quality of agricultural products

The sour meat product of Truong Foods Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, Thanh Son town, Thanh Son district, is chosen by many customers.

Truong Foods Production and Trading Joint Stock Company was established in June 2015 with the business of producing and trading food in Thanh Son town, Thanh Son district. The product “Truong Foods sour meat - Muong specialty” has been registered for intellectual property and protected by trademark, has a certificate of ensuring sufficient production conditions, and has a certificate of food hygiene and safety.

Since its establishment, Truong Foods has created jobs for more than 50 local workers. 100% of direct production workers are trained and equipped with food safety and hygiene knowledge. Thanks to that, Truong Foods creates products with different quality compared to similar products on the market.

On average, each year, Truong Foods receives a large amount of raw materials from suppliers, including more than 180 tons of pork, over 20 tons of rice bran, corn, 9 tons of guava leaves, more than 100,000 plastic bottles, bamboo tubes... contributing to increasing income for many raw material production facilities locally and outside the province.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa, Director of the Company, said, "Along with expanding production scale, the Company is especially interested in researching and expanding the market, building a system of distributors and agents in key markets in the province and provinces and cities such as Hoa Binh, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen... Introducing and promoting products is focused, in addition to its own website, Truong Foods also uses social networking platforms and mass media and regularly participates in exhibitions and fairs... Quickly approaching science and technology, applying digital transformation, the enterprise has affirmed the Truong Foods brand in the market, bringing the sour meat flavor of Dat To further and further".

Along with enterprises, currently, cooperatives in the province have innovated in human resources and business methods in the direction of a market economy to become a potential economic organization, operating effectively. Many cooperatives have better organized production, business, and service activities and are more active in the market mechanism, in which, in the agricultural sector alone, there are over 60 cooperatives with production and product consumption linkage activities. At the same time, developing production with a concentrated scale and area is a bridge in receiving and guiding the application of scientific and technical advances in production, building brands, and tracing origins. Cooperatives have paid attention to linking in production and aiming to develop key products that are strengths of the locality, such as tea, grapefruit, bananas, livestock, poultry, and safe vegetables...

In the competitive market economy environment, to affirm the brand, Hung Lo Rice Noodle Cooperative, Hung Lo Commune, Viet Tri City has registered product trademark rights. Hung Lo rice noodle products sold on the market are packaged, have logos, labels, traceability codes... The cooperative produces all year round, not following the “season” as before, so it is necessary for cooperative members to innovate their thinking in producing goods and investing in machinery and equipment so that products are consistent in quality, design, and volume... The cooperative’s products are expanded to many markets outside the province, supermarket systems, and exports. The cooperative aims to produce professional goods and improve product quality, and the trading channel will continue to be expanded by agents.

Currently, the province’s agricultural products are abundant with increasingly improved and stable quality, along with the active participation of enterprises and cooperatives in the field of agricultural production and processing. Thanks to that, it has created livelihoods for hundreds of families by participating in the production chain, processing, sales system... In fact, from the development strategy of diversifying goods and agricultural products according to market demand, many enterprises and cooperatives have played a good role in promoting the formation of production models according to value chains associated with key products, large-scale, with spreading power, contributing increasingly effectively to the socio-economic growth of the province.
