Since the beginning of the year, the number of workers employed by industrial enterprises across the province has continued to increase, signaling positive developments in production and business activities as well as rising labor demand in the industrial sector.
According to statistics, the number of workers employed by industrial enterprises in July 2026 increased 1.7% month on month and 9.3% year on year.

GY Vietnam Co., Ltd. has maintained stable production activities at Yen Lap Industrial Cluster in Yen Lap Commune.
By type of enterprise, compared with the same period last year, employment in foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises increased by 13.4%. This trend indicates that FDI enterprises continue to see rising demand for workers, making a significant contribution to the overall increase in employment in industrial enterprises across the province.
By economic sector, employment in mining enterprises increased by 6.4% year on year. Notably, employment in the processing and manufacturing sector rose by 9.7%, continuing to record relatively strong growth and reflecting increasing demand for human resources to support industrial production.
Labor demand in the sector providing essential services and ensuring environmental sanitation continued to be maintained and expanded, increasing by 13.1%. In contrast, employment in the sector of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air-conditioning production and distribution fell by 17.6% compared with the same period last year.
The increase in employment among industrial enterprises, particularly FDI enterprises and those in the processing and manufacturing sector, represents a positive signal for the labor market. At the same time, industrial production in the province continues to maintain its growth momentum. This also provides a foundation for creating jobs, stabilizing workers’ incomes and promoting local economic growth.
