Introduction and Connection of OCOP Products from Ethnic Minority Women in Yen Lap
The Women’s Union of Yen Lap District recently organized a fair to introduce and connect the consumption of OCOP products and safe agricultural products for women from ethnic minority and mountainous areas of the district in 2024, held at Xuan An commune. This event is part of Project 8 under the National Target Program for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the first phase from 2021 to 2025.
The event featured 17 booths from women’s unions of communes and towns, with over 200 products on display. Among these, 11 booths represented ethnic minority regions, showcasing 15 OCOP products with 3-star and 4-star ratings. With funding from Project 8, the Women’s Union of Yen Lap District supported women members with OCOP products and safe agricultural products from the district, including traditional, distinctive products that ensure quality, hygiene, and food safety for consumers.
