The effective and active operation of the Association and each member has contributed to strongly spreading the spirit of entrepreneurship, investment, production and business development. Therefore, the number of enterprises in the province has increased from more than 6,000 enterprises (in 2017) to over 11,000 enterprises (in 2023); The province’s business community has created jobs for nearly 200,000 workers, contributing more than 70% of the province’s total budget revenue.

From five member associations, in the past term, the Provincial Business Association has grown to eight member associations, including: Phu Tho Provincial Small and Medium Enterprise Association, Young Entrepreneurs Association, Women Business Association, Phu Tho Tourism Association Tho, Automobile Association, Foreign Investment Enterprise Association, Veterans Businessmen Association and Door Industry Association with 310 businesses joining official members, more than 1,000 businesses participating in membership activities at member associations , collective club.

Not only does it gather and link businesses in the province to support each other to operate effectively, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and the country, in the past five years, with assigned functions and tasks, the Association Provincial enterprises have performed well the function of representing and protecting the legal and legitimate interests of members in business activities with domestic and foreign organizations and individuals according to the law. Effectively coordinate to organize seminars, training courses, and workshops to improve business management skills for leaders and key officials of businesses. Promote support for businesses to develop production and business through product promotion, strengthening economic cooperation and linkages with businesses inside and outside the province, contributing to promoting the development of businesses and the connection between businesses. With a key role as a “bridge” between businesses and entrepreneurs with party committees and authorities, the Provincial Business Association has increasingly innovated in content and form; promptly convey the Party’s policies and guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, and the province’s socio-economic development orientation to businesses; Closely coordinate with departments and branches to effectively deploy investment orientation activities, human resource training, exchange of experience, trade promotion, product promotion, and market search for businesses.

In particular, the Standing Committee of the Association has proactively advised the Provincial People’s Committee to direct the People’s Committees of districts, cities and towns to propagate and mobilize in each locality to have at least 3% of businesses participating in the Association, at the same time.
