Military Region 2 Command extends New Year wishes to Phu Tho province

On the afternoon of January 10, a delegation from the Military Region 2 Command, led by Major General Nguyen Dang Khai, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff, visited Phu Tho province. They extended New Year wishes to the Party Committee, government, people of all ethnic groups, and armed forces as the Lunar New Year 2025 approaches.

Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, standing deputy secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial Military Command, and the Provincial Party Committee Office.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Military Region 2 Command, Major General Nguyen Dang Khai respectfully thanked the Party Committee, the government, and the people of all ethnic groups of Phu Tho province for their continued attention and support, creating favorable conditions for Military Region units stationed in the province to excel in completing their tasks. Last year, promoting the tradition of solidarity and with the support of provinces, including Phu Tho, the armed forces of Military Region 2 and the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command successfully implemented military and defense tasks, achieving notable results.

On the occasion of preparing to welcome the traditional Lunar New Year, Major General Nguyen Dang Khai wished Phu Tho province to continue to gain many new victories in socio-economic development, hoping that the province would continue to pay attention and coordinate with Military Region 2 to create conditions for the provincial armed forces to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to maintaining local security and defense.

He thanked the affection and attention that Military Region 2 has given to Phu Tho province in the past and affirmed: To achieve the socio-economic development results of the province in 2024, in addition to the efforts and high determination of the entire political system, Phu Tho province also has the attention and active support of the Party Committee and the Military Region 2 Command.

Emphasizing that 2025 is the year of many important events, especially the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that in the coming time, Phu Tho province will continue to receive the attention, coordination, and support of the Party Committee and the Military Region 2 Command for Phu Tho province in general and military and defense work in particular to continue to successfully complete the set political tasks, ensuring security and defense for sustainable socio-economic development.
