In preparation for the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day and the 2025 Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week at the provincial level, the project “Renovation and Upgrade of the Landscape System in Front of Den Gieng”—part of the “Restoration and Improvement of Infrastructure and Landscape of the Hung Kings’ Temple Historical Site”—has now reached 95% completion.
Specifically, the renovation and upgrading of the landscape system in front of Den Gieng is in its final phase, set to be completed before the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in 2025 (March 10th in the lunar calendar). One of the key components of the project is Package No. 10, which focuses on the construction and installation of facilities in the lotus pond area and in front of Den Gieng.
The package has a total investment of over 19.9 billion VND, funded by Hanoi City. The Hung Kings' Temple Historical Site Management Board is the project owner, and the Tu Lap Construction Co., Ltd. is the contractor, having won the bid at over 19.5 billion VND. The project aims not only to renovate the landscape system but also to create a green, clean, and beautiful environment, contributing to environmental protection and attracting both domestic and international visitors to the Hung Kings' Temple Festival.
Currently, 60 podocarpus (tung la han) trees have been planted and are being carefully maintained. Meanwhile, the construction of miniature landscapes and artificial rock formations around the lotus pond is being expedited. Additionally, the contractor is focusing its workforce and machinery on the renovation and upgrade of the lotus ponds No. 1 to No. 5 and other related infrastructure systems.
The construction period is set for 120 days, with work having commenced on January 2nd. As of now, 95% of the workload has been completed. The project is expected to be finished by March 20th, allowing for its inauguration, handover, and official operation.
