Offering flowers to commemorate Martyrs and Heroes on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024

On the morning of February 9 (lunar December 30), on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province organized an incense and flower offering ceremony to commemorate Martyrs and Heroes at the provincial Memorial to Heroic Martyrs (Ca Chuoi hill, Chu Hoa commune, Viet Tri city).

Mr. Bui Minh Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Bui Van Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee; Standing People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and provincial department, branch, and union leaders attended the event.

Mr. Bui Minh Chau, Provincial Party Secretary, laid a wreath to honor the great martyrs and heroes.

During the nation’s resistance wars to save the country, tens of thousands of young people of the Fatherland enthusiastically set out to do their sacred duty to protect the Fatherland, of which more than 18,000 outstanding sons of the ancestral land have permanently remained on the battlefield and devoted his entire life to the country’s peace.

Before the heroic spirits of the fallen heroes, the provincial leaders and delegates bowed their heads in remembrance and expressed infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed heroically for the cause of liberation, national unification, building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland. Vows to consistently promote excellent revolutionary traditions, preserve the spirit of solidarity, and focus intelligence and resources to foster emulation movements of productive work, so establishing a more wealthy, beautiful, and developed nation. At the same time, teach the next generations to promote the patriotic tradition and revolutionary spirit of their forefathers; Do an excellent job of expressing thanks and caring for policy families, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and families that contributed to the revolution.
