On June 15, Mr. Quach Tat Liem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a meeting to review preparations for the organization of the “Thailand Connect in Phu Tho 2026” program, as reported by the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The “Thailand Connect in Phu Tho 2026” program is being organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Thailand. The event is expected to attract approximately 400 delegates, including leaders of central ministries and agencies, local authorities, representatives of the Royal Thai Embassy in Viet Nam, as well as domestic and international businesses and investors.
To date, preparations for the program have generally been carried out in accordance with the planned schedule.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Vice Chairman Quach Tat Liem requested relevant departments, sectors, and local authorities to thoroughly review all program contents and ensure that all necessary conditions are in place so that the event can be organized professionally, solemnly, safely, and effectively.
He assigned the Department of Foreign Affairs to finalize the overall scenario and agenda, detailing each activity and task while clearly defining the responsibilities of all participating agencies and units.
At the same time, he emphasized the need to strengthen communication and promotional activities, and to enhance coordination with central ministries and agencies, the Royal Thai Embassy in Viet Nam, and relevant organizations to ensure the successful organization of the program. Through these efforts, the event is expected to further strengthen friendship and cooperation while promoting investment, trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges between Phu Tho Province and Thai localities and businesses.

A key highlight of the “Thailand Connect in Phu Tho 2026” program will be the official launch ceremony of the Doan Hung Industrial Park Project, marked by a symbolic button-pressing event, along with the signing and exchange of investment cooperation memoranda of understanding (MOUs) between enterprises.
These activities will not only demonstrate the attractiveness of Phu Tho’s investment environment but also create new opportunities for cooperation, serving as an important driver for industrial development, trade expansion, and international economic integration in the coming years.
