“Colors of Tourism of the Ancestral Land” is part of the “Hung Kings' Commemoration Day” and the Cultural-Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025, taking place from April 3 to 7 (i.e., from March 6 to 10 of the Lunar calendar). The program features the participation of nearly 70 units and individuals, including the Tourism Promotion Information Center, tourism enterprises, production facilities, and craft villages from Phu Tho province, as well as other provinces associated with tourism development in Phu Tho.
With activities that display and introduce tourism products and local goods and promote regional cuisine, attendees and tourists are invited to enjoy and experience the unique cultural, tourism, and culinary offerings. The program contributes to attracting tourists, meeting their needs, and encouraging businesses and local units to produce products that showcase the uniqueness and identity of the area, serving as gifts and souvenirs for visitors. This initiative also encourages community participation in tourism activities.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Trong Tan emphasized that Phu Tho is the birthplace of the nation, rich in history and culture, and a potential tourism destination with a diverse tourism ecosystem, ranging from spiritual cultural tourism and ecotourism to resort tourism and community experiences. To capitalize on the tourism potential and strengths, he recommended that departments, agencies, and units focus on developing unique tourism products, improving the quality of services in a professional manner, enhancing tourism promotion and advertising, and forming strong partnerships with businesses and travel agencies. In particular, he stressed that every citizen of the Land of Ancestors should continue to raise awareness about preserving and promoting the value of cultural and historical heritage, being friendly and welcoming to tourists, and contributing to making Phu Tho a top tourist destination.
