On the morning of June 23, Phu Tho Newspaper and Radio-Television Station held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial Party Committee on its establishment, following the merger of Phu Tho Newspaper and Phu Tho Radio-Television Station. The event also introduced personnel appointments for the newly formed agency.

Attending the event were Mr. Vi Manh Hung, members of the editorial board, heads and deputy heads of departments, and staff from the merged agencies.
According to Decision No. 2123-QD/TU dated June 13, 2025, issued by the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, Phu Tho Newspaper and Radio-Television Station is a public service unit under the direct management of the Provincial Party Committee. It serves as the official voice of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Phu Tho province—acting as a vital communication bridge between the Party, the State, and the people. The agency operates across multiple platforms, including print, electronic newspapers, radio, television, and digital media.
The new organizational structure consists of an editor-in-chief, deputy editors-in-chief, and nine specialized departments: General Office; Current Affairs; Editorial Secretariat; Politics and Economics; Engineering and Technology; Ethnic and Mountainous Affairs; Arts, Sports, and Entertainment; Digital Content; and Advertising and Publishing Services.

Additionally, decisions were handed out to new heads and deputy heads of the specialized departments.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Vi Manh Hung emphasized that the newly established agency must boldly innovate and foster a professional, efficient work environment. He called for leveraging the strengths of print, radio, and television to create modern multimedia content that is engaging, accessible, and aligned with evolving public demands.
He noted that the merger was in line with the party’s guidelines on streamlining and improving the efficiency of political and public service organizations. Moving forward, the agency must uphold its principles, stay aligned with political directives, and focus on key and topical issues of the party, the state, and the province. It should play a crucial role in party-building efforts, ideological protection, shaping public opinion, and spreading positive, consensus-building information.
Delegates are attending the conference.
Mr. Vi Manh Hung also stressed the importance of seamless media operations once the new Phu Tho province structure officially comes into effect on July 1. Journalistic integrity, professionalism, and unity among staff members will be critical in ensuring the agency fulfills its mission of timely and comprehensive reporting on political, economic, cultural, and social developments in the province.
