Phu Tho has two OCOP products certified with 5 stars at the national level.
On January 16, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held a conference to evaluate and rank OCOP products at the national level in 2024 in Hanoi. The conference reviewed 52 products from localities across the country with a transparent and fair evaluation process.
As a result, 28 products were recognized with the national OCOP certification. Among them, Phu Tho Province is honored to have two products certified with 5 stars: “Hung Lo Rice Noodles” from Hung Lo Rice Noodle Cooperative (Viet Tri City) and “Thanh Ba Purple Bud Tea” from UT Tea Investment and Development Company (Thanh Ba District).
Achieving the 5-star OCOP certification not only affirms the brand but also creates opportunities for the product to reach wider markets both domestically and internationally, contributing to preserving and promoting the traditional values of the homeland of the Hung Kings. This is a driving force for production facilities to continue innovating, improving quality, and promoting OCOP products in the future.
