During the four-day National Day holiday (August 30 – September 2, 2025), Phu Tho Province welcomed about 300,000 visitors, underscoring the growing appeal of tourism in the Land of the Ancestors.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, total tourism revenue during this period was estimated at VND 305 billion. Accommodation facilities operated at a high capacity, with an average occupancy rate exceeding 70%. At several eco-resorts and luxury retreats, occupancy reached 90%–95%. This positive signal reflects the stable recovery and steady growth of the province’s tourism sector.
Mandala Retreat Kim Boi in Kim Boi Commune was brightly decorated to celebrate National Day.
Key destinations during the holiday included the Hung Kings Temple, Xuan Son National Park, and resort areas in Thanh Thuy, Tam Nong, Kim Boi, and Mai Chau. A wide range of cultural activities, folk festivals, and local culinary experiences also attracted large numbers of visitors. Security and order at tourist sites were well maintained.
Legacy Hill Resort & Villas in Lien Son Commune made thorough preparations to welcome guests.
These results reaffirm Phu Tho’s position as an attractive destination that meets the demand for sightseeing and leisure among both domestic and out-of-province visitors. These results also provide important momentum for the province to develop tourism into a key economic sector while promoting the image of the Land of the Ancestors, rich in cultural identity.
