Phu Tho to allocate nearly VND 9 billion for investment promotion in 2025

The Provincial People’s Committee has issued Document No. 431/CTr-UBND, dated January 24, 2025, outlining Phu Tho’s Investment Promotion Program for the year. The province plans to allocate a total budget of approximately VND 8.85 billion to implement various investment promotion activities.

In 2025, Phu Tho aims to attract over VND 50 trillion in total development investment capital while generating at least VND 8 trillion in state budget revenue. The province expects to secure between USD 500 million and USD 600 million in newly registered and adjusted FDI, with newly registered capital accounting for approximately USD 200 million to USD 300 million.

Phu Tho also seeks to maintain its ranking on the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), improve its Public Administration Reform Index (PAR Index), and achieve at least 90% satisfaction among citizens and organizations using public administrative services (SIPAS). Additionally, the province aims to sustain its Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) ranking within the “High Average” group nationwide.

The program outlines key initiatives, including prioritizing investments in transport infrastructure, attracting capital into clean energy, new technologies, and high-tech industries, and further streamlining administrative procedures to support businesses. The estimated budget of VND 8.85 billion will come from the state budget and other legal sources.

Phu Tho’s investment promotion strategy for 2025 is expected to play a crucial role in achieving its socio-economic development targets for the year.
