Phu Tho wins 4 medals at the National Individual Shuttlecock Championship
After 8 days of exciting competition from March 22 - 29 at the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Sports Center Gymnasium, the 2024 National Individual Shuttlecock Championship ended with the first place in the entire team event for Dong Thap. Phu Tho Shuttlecock team won a total of 4 medals of all types, ranking the third in the entire team event.
This year’s tournament brings together nearly 160 domestic athletes competing for 7 sets of medals. Among them, Phu Tho has 10 athletes participating in the following events: Men’s doubles, women’s doubles, men’s singles, women’s singles, 3 men’s team and 4 women’s team.
At the end of the tournament, the Shuttlecock athletes from the Fatherland won a total of 4 medals of all kinds, including 1 Gold Medal in the Men’s Team of 3 for Tran Anh Quan, Bui Manh Cuong and Bui Quang Duong and 2 Silver medals in the following events: Women’s Team of 4, Men’s Doubles and 1 Bronze Medal in Women’s Singles.
