State-owned enterprises pay more than 325 billion VND to the budget
According to the Provincial Taxation Department, in the first 6 months of the year, central and local state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the province paid 325.5 billion VND to the budget.
In particular, central state-owned enterprises paid 288 billion VND, equal to 60.4% of the year’s estimate, an increase of 7% over the same period. Revenue from this area shows positive results, mainly coming from the production and business situation of central SOEs being relatively stable and growing over the same period such as Lam Thao Fertilizers and Chemicals Joint Stock Company that is estimated at 40 billion VND, an increase of 29 billion VND over the same period; Phu Tho Petroleum Company is estimated to reach 24 billion VND, an increase of 4 billion VND over the same period; Phu Tho Electricity Company is estimated to reach 11 billion VND, an increase of 10 billion VND over the same period.
In addition, there was an increase in revenue of VND 18 billion from tax arrears according to the conclusion of the Deputy Prime Minister on VAT collection for credit collection activities.
The remaining revenue from local SOEs is 37.5 billion VND, reaching 61.6% of the year’s estimate, up 25% over the same period. Currently, revenues from the local SOE sector are mostly from administrative and non-business units such as schools, hospitals...
