Over the past years, the Party Committee, government, and people of Thanh Thuy town (Thanh Thuy district) have always united and made efforts to gradually overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully completing the local socio-economic development goals.

With a consistent viewpoint, developing agricultural production, industry, handicrafts, trade and services in a comprehensive and sustainable manner on the basis of maximizing the potential and advantages of the region, the Executive Board of Thanh Thuy Town Party Committee has developed thematic resolutions and breakthroughs in economic development. Accordingly, taking advantage of natural conditions, with hot mineral water sources suitable for investment in resorts, implementing the policy of promoting improvement of the business investment environment, creating a favorable environment to attract businesses to invest in tourism projects, especially resort tourism, Thanh Thuy Town has actively mobilized investment resources for development.

In recent years, the town has continuously invested concentrated resources in infrastructure development. Main roads, inter-regional traffic routes, and roads connecting the town with communes in the district and surrounding areas have been invested in and built, making it convenient for travel and trade connections between regions.

In urban beautification, many urban roads are upgraded, lighting systems are installed, sidewalks are renovated, and more trees are planted to create a bright - green - clean - beautiful urban landscape. At the same time, perform well the work of preserving and promoting the value of local traditional festivals, strengthening propaganda and promoting the potential and strengths of culture, cuisine and tourism in the area, thereby attracting many tourists. This is also a stepping stone to promote the town’s economy in the right direction as set out by the Resolution of the Town Congress, which is to reduce the proportion of agricultural production, forestry and fishery, and increase the proportion of industrial production, handicrafts, construction, tourism, services and trade. Currently, the town has a total of 1,743 individual business households, of which 1,154 are service business households. The total revenue from trade, services, and tourism in recent years is estimated at more than 200 billion VND/ year. Besides, the town focuses on developing industry, handicrafts, and construction. In the town, there are 54 businesses and 112 households operating in these fields, including a number of industries that develop relatively evenly and generate high income values ​​such as garments, furniture, and forest product processing ... Total revenue reaches about 120 billion VND per year.

Promoting favorable conditions and synchronous solutions has helped the face of Thanh Thuy town become more prosperous, the economy develops, material and spiritual life is improved, and the average income of people is increasing, up to now reaching nearly 60 million VND/ person/ year, the poverty rate has decreased to 2.17%.
