The infrastructure investment and promotion site clearance for key projects is focused.

“The traffic is the first and opening roads is the second”, especially inter-regional, inter-provincial and inter-district connecting traffic routes are invested in, upgraded and renovated to help people travel and trade conveniently, which creating momentum for socio-economic development, in the period of 2021-2025, the Provincial People’s Committee has focused resources on investment in many important traffic projects.

Accordingly, Vinh Phu bridge, Lai Dong bridge, Kiet Son bridge have been completed and put into use, and a number of other bridges on provincial roads and nearly 150km of important traffic routes are expected to be completed in 2023. At the same time, the Provincial People’s Committee is coordinating closely with Tuyen Quang province to invest in construction and complete the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway with a total length of 40.2km, including 28,6km within Phu Tho province

Along with investment in new construction, the Provincial People’s Committee regularly pays attention to directing the good implementation of maintenance and repair of national highways (authorized to manage by the Ministry of Transport) and local road systems. From 2020 up to now, the province has repaired and improved the road surface with more than 100km, renovated and handled 18 black spots and potential traffic accident spots, and added 19,294m of corrugated iron guardrails; repaired damages to the foundation and road surface of 62.5km; installed additional traffic signals at six intersection locations, added and replaced 4,218 signs of all types, painted 4,520m2 of lines...

In implementation of the Conclusion of the Chairman of the 06^th Session, the 19^th Provincial People's Council, to continue the traffic development in Phu Tho province according to planning to meet the travel needs of the people, contributing to socio-economic development, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Transport and related departments and branches to inspect and review the existing provincial road system, synthesize and develop a plan to renovate and repair the provincial road system until 2030; research and prepare investment procedures for construction of a number of key transportation projects including: Road connecting Phu Tho town through Cam Khe (Tinh Cuong bridge) to Yen Lap district; road connecting Dong Quang bridge to National Highway 32 at Viet Tien intersection, Dich Qua commune, Thanh Son district; Road connecting Phu Ha Industrial Park to IC9 intersection of Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway.

At the same time, continue to request the Ministry of Transport to pay attention to investment in the construction of important traffic projects in the province: Upgrading and expanding Ho Chi Minh Road connecting from Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway to Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway; Ho Chi Minh Road of Co Tiet – Cho Ben section and Phu Tho town - Co Tiet section; New construction of Phong Chau bridge...

Mr. Trinh The Truyen - TUV, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment said: Until now, there are a total of 1,362 projects in the province, of which 859 projects are in operation (accounting for 63.07%), 340 projects are in transition (accounting for 24.96%) and 163 projects have not been completed (accounting for 11.96%). During the year, over 364 hectares of land were recovered and handed over to key projects, including 50 hectares of Phu Ha Industrial Park, 28 hectares of Cam Khe Industrial Park...

Among the 18 key provincial projects in 2023, there are 05 projects that have completed investment procedures, basic handover of premises, and have been constructing infrastructure such as: Investment and business in Phu Ha Industrial Park infrastructure, Tien Cat urban housing area, renovation, reinforcement and upgrade of Au Co road, inter-regional road connecting Ho Chi Minh road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C Phu Tho to Yen Bai, Van Xuan Industrial Cluster (additional new projects 2023).

In addition, there are 4 out of 18 projects that have completed investment procedures and are continuing to carry out compensation and site clearance: Investment and business in infrastructure of Cam Khe Industrial Park, Southeast new urban area of Viet Tri City, Tam Nong Industrial Cluster, Bai Ba 2 Industrial Cluster. There are 7 out of 18 projects implementing investment procedures (Tam Nong Industrial Park, Ha Hoa Industrial Park, hot mineral ecological housing area in Son Thuy commune, Bao Yen commune, Thanh Thuy; 217ha subdivision of Tam Nong ecological urban area, tourism, resort and golf course project, Viet Tri luxurious commercial center complex project, Ngoc Quan Industrial Cluster, Dong Phi Industrial Cluster. Two suspended projects are the urban, cultural and sport and service area and Ao Chau golf course (suspended to update and unify the planning method of Ha Hoa district to be consistent with the national railway planning), Viet Tri ecological urban and sport area (suspended for planning adjustment).
