127 products of cooperatives achieves OCOP certification

Phu Tho currently has 150 cooperatives with commodity products, of which 127 cooperative products meet OCOP standards of 3 stars or higher, accounting for 49.03% of the total number of OCOP products in the province (including 30 products of 4 stars or higher, 97 products of 3 stars).

Many cooperatives develop production with a concentrated scale and area, demonstrating an important role as a bridge in absorbing and guiding the application of scientific and technical advances in production, promoting the transformation of crop and livestock structure; branding, traceability; Find markets, promote trading and consuming products. Some cooperatives have effective operating models, thereby affirming the important role of cooperatives in restructuring the agricultural sector, actively participating in the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program and the national target program to build new rural areas in the province. 69.9% of cooperatives have average revenue, profits, and income of members and employees all increasing from 10% to 12% over the same period in 2023. Cooperatives have attracted and created stable and seasonal jobs for thousands of workers.
