These days, every street, flower market, and garden in Phu Tho is radiant with the colors of Spring. The Tet atmosphere is palpable in every peach tree, kumquat pot, and blooming petal, carrying with it the people’s excitement for the Lunar New Year.

In flower market, kumquat and peach trees remain the two dominant staples, appearing in high density from traditional markets to large-scale flower hubs.

In addition to the standard peach and kumquat trees that serve the majority of households, many gardens have introduced ancient peach trees that have been meticulously grown and styled. Some of these ancient trees are priced at nearly 90 million VND, attracting collectors and affluent customers.

Notably, many gardeners are investing heavily in presentation. Trees are displayed in sculpted driftwood pots, creating a look that is both rustic and luxurious.

Sapa peach trees, with their ancient stature, natural blossoms, and characteristic pale pink hue, offer a refreshing feel and are a popular choice for Tet decorations.

Beyond peach and kumquat trees, the market is rich with various flowers and ornamental plants symbolizing good luck. Wild forest bananas, with their vibrant red color and tall stature, are favored by many families for the warm, prosperous feel and the wish for fortune they bring to the New Year.

Papaya trees symbolize a life of abundance and prosperity.

Orchids are also receiving special attention this Tet. Meticulously cared-for Dendrobium orchids, featuring even blooms and a gentle fragrance, are priced between 6 and 20 million VND per pot, depending on the size.

Meanwhile, Moth Orchids maintain their strong appeal with popular prices ranging from 190,000 to 300,000 VND per plant, making them accessible to a wide range of customers.

At this time, orchid arrangers and floral decorators are working at full capacity. Thanks to the surging demand, many can earn several million VND per day, adding further vitality to the Tet flower market.

At the flower markets, the bustling shopping atmosphere signals a warm, bountiful Tet season filled with hope.
