The Urgent Landslide Remediation Project in Group 15 Area, Hoa Binh Ward carries a total investment of over 499.8 billion VND, constructing a 2,013-meter embankment line. To date, 492 meters of concrete earth-retaining walls, 864 meters of sloped embankments, and several other items have been constructed. However, construction progress remains slow. The project requires relocating and arranging resettlement for 80 households, of which only 32 households have been arranged. Site clearance faces lingering obstacles in several locations.

Through inspections, prominent difficulties across the 3 projects primarily relate to site clearance, resettlement arrangements, capital sources, and construction progress. The Hoa Binh Area Project Management Board recommended relevant localities and units to accelerate land origin verifications, complete compensation and resettlement plans; while requesting contractors to concentrate manpower and equipment, increasing shifts and crews, and prioritizing construction at locations with high landslide risks—guaranteeing work quality and safety.

Delivering concluding remarks, Vice Chairman Dinh Cong Su requested departments, sectors, localities, and relevant units to elevate their sense of responsibility, strengthen coordination, focus on removing site clearance obstacles, and decisively accelerate project progress.

For the Bui River Disaster Remediation Project, he requested the Hoa Binh Area Project Management Board to coordinate with the Luong Son Commune People’s Committee to form an inter-agency working group to review and accurately determine land origins, resolving compensation and site clearance bottlenecks. Locations with cleared sites must urgently organize construction; while completing disbursement procedures based on executed volumes and regularly reporting progress.

For the Urgent Pheo - Che Flood Prevention Dike Project, Vice Chairman Dinh Cong Su requested Ky Son ward to early approve compensation plans for 24 households in the Paper Mill residential quarters and remaining households; arranging resettlement for 20 affected households to create clean sites serving construction. Contractors shall concentrate manpower, materials, and equipment, organizing multi-shift construction to guarantee progress, quality, technical standards, and work safety in accordance with signed contracts.

The Vice Chairman emphasized not allowing lingering bottlenecks to drag out and affect investment efficiency and progress. Accelerating natural disaster prevention works is an urgent task aimed at early realizing investment efficiency, protecting residents' lives and property, and minimizing disaster losses.
