Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Duy Dong Receives and Works with the Executive Office of Compal Global

On the afternoon of August 11, Comrade Tran Duy Dong — Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) — received and worked with a delegation from the Executive Office of Compal Global led by Mr. Bryan Leuenberger, Senior Vice President, who came to pay a courtesy visit and exchange plans for investment expansion in the province.

As a 100% foreign-owned enterprise under the Compal Group (Taiwan, China), Compal Electronics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. is currently executing a large-scale electronics manufacturing project in Ba Thien Industrial Park with a total area of nearly 29.7 hectares. Among this, the main site accounts for over 21.7 hectares, and factory spaces leased across 5 other locations cover more than 8 hectares. Compal boasts a diverse product portfolio focusing on laptops, smart devices, networking equipment, automotive electronic components, and especially AI Server systems, AI Server components, along with other high-tech product lines.

Through nearly 20 years of sustainable development in the province, Compal Vietnam has continuously expanded its scale, affirming its role as a pillar FDI enterprise providing comprehensive technology solutions. In the first six months of 2026, the company achieved revenue of over USD 1.9 billion (reaching 127.5% compared to the same period in 2025); export value reached USD 4.549 billion (reaching 123.5% year-on-year); contributed approximately USD 10.178 million to the State budget (more than doubling year-on-year); and generated stable employment for over 12,000 workers.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Bryan Leuenberger respectfully thanked the leaders of Phu Tho Province for their warm reception. The Senior Vice President of the Executive Office of Compal Global emphasized that throughout its investment journey, the enterprise has consistently received companionship and timely support from local authorities in resolving difficulties. To serve its investment expansion plan in the upcoming phase, Compal hopes the province will continue to offer attention and assistance, ensuring a stable power supply, recommending suitable locations for new factories, and supporting the supply of high-quality human resources.

Welcoming the delegation to visit and work in the province, Chairman of the PPC Tran Duy Dong highly commended Compal’s positive contributions to local socio-economic development. He affirmed that Compal is a large-scale, highly effective FDI project with a long-standing commitment to the locality. The investor’s continuous capital injections and production expansion into high-tech segments such as AI Servers and next-generation networking equipment serve as a positive signal, contributing to raising industrial manufacturing capacity, boosting supply chains, and increasing high-tech production value in Phu Tho.

Regarding the proposals of Compal Electronics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., the PPC Chairman assigned the Management Board of Provincial Industrial Parks to act as the primary focal point, coordinating with relevant departments and sectors to directly support and resolve bottlenecks, creating the most favorable conditions for the enterprise to rapidly implement its expansion project. Phu Tho Province commits to maintaining a consistent policy of companionship, creating an open, safe, and favorable investment environment for investors to develop sustainably.
