On the evening of April 11, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, in collaboration with the Phu Tho Golf Association, held the closing and award ceremony for the 2026 Hung Kings Cup: "The Spirit of Van Lang."
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Bui Van Quang — Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Son — Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Nguyen Huy Ngoc — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee for the 2026 Hung Kings' Commemoration; and Mr. Duong Hoang Huong — Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
After a day of spirited and enthusiastic competition characterized by noble sportsmanship, the tournament officially concluded, leaving a lasting impression and affirming its prestige as a large-scale sporting event.

In his closing remarks, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huy Ngoc emphasized that the participation of nearly 600 golfers from across the nation vividly demonstrated the tournament’s appeal. He noted that the event reflected a spirit of unity and national pride, serving as a gathering point for Vietnamese people to look toward their ancestral roots.

The Vice Chairman expressed his confidence that while the tournament has ended, the “Spirit of Van Lang” would continue to resonate, leaving a profound impact on every golfer. This, in turn, contributes to the growth of the Vietnamese golf movement and promotes the image of the Ancestral Land, Phu Tho.

The 2026 Hung Kings Cup: “The Spirit of Van Lang” stands as a prominent highlight within the framework of the Hung Kings' Commemoration - Hung Temple Festival and Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week, enriching the cultural and sporting landscape while promoting Phu Tho to domestic and international friends.
