On the evening of January 5, Hung Vuong University and the Pacific Asia Society (PAS) organized the 2026 Vietnam-Korea Cultural Exchange Program. Since 2019, the two organizations have successfully collaborated on two in-person cultural exchange programs in Vietnam and two online exchange sessions.
Students of Hung Vuong University performing a cultural showcase.
The 2026 exchange program will take place from January 2nd to 17th with activities such as: teaching Vietnamese and Korean languages; teaching singing and learning about traditional Vietnamese martial arts and Taekwondo; exploring traditional Vietnamese and Korean culture and art through experiences such as Xoan singing, calligraphy, folk games, Vietnamese Lunar New Year, Korean culture, and Korean art...
Through these cultural exchange and hands-on activities, students have the opportunity to share their cultural identities and customs, as well as their perspectives on academics, life, and international integration. These efforts contribute to promoting the image of Vietnam and its people in general, and Hung Vuong University in particular. Furthermore, the program helps students refine their intercultural communication skills, enhance their foreign language proficiency, and foster a spirit of global citizenship within the context of Asia-Pacific regional integration.
