Exciting Experiences of Traditional Tet Festival
Welcoming the Lunar New Year of Snake 2025, in the joyful atmosphere of the new year, schools in the province are organizing meaningful experiences about the traditional Tet festival, such as: learning about Tet customs, Tet market, Tet booth decorations, folk games, Tet foods... Through these activities, the traditional Tet space, customs, and atmosphere are recreated to help students better understand the cultural values of the nation, contributing to fostering a love for their homeland and country among the younger generation.
The vibrant colors of Spring on the Tet fruit trays, the peach and flower branches competing to bloom beautifully...
Students are taught by artisans about the origins, meaning, and how to make “to he” (a traditional Vietnamese toy figure).
The old Tet is also recreated through calligraphy writing and getting the first-letter blessings of the year.
Elementary school students are deeply engaged in learning and coloring Dong Ho paintings.
The Tet market booths are lively and realistic.
First-grade students eagerly try their hand at interesting and beneficial folk games under the encouragement of their teachers and parents.

Students at Tien Cat Primary School are excited when they are guided by teachers and parents to wrap traditional square sticky rice cakes (Banh Chung).
