Exciting Full Moon Festival Night on the Da River

On the evening of September 25, the People’s Committee of Hoa Binh Ward coordinated with the Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Cultural, Service, and Community Support Center to organize the 2nd “Full Moon Festival Night on the Da River” in 2026.

Attending and sharing in the joy with local children on behalf of the province was Comrade Quach Tat Liem, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, alongside leaders of various departments, boards, and branches.

Representing Hoa Binh Ward were Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, and Chairman of the Ward People’s Council; local ward leaders, alongside a large gathering of children and residents across the area.

The festival night provided an opportunity for children to gather in a joyful, safe atmosphere, contributing to preserving and spreading the traditional beauty of the Mid-Autumn Festival; while demonstrating the care and attention of Party committees, local authorities, and society toward children.

At the festival, children listened to the Mid-Autumn Festival letter sent by the General Secretary and President to children nationwide on the occasion of the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival. The program continued with various rich activities such as parades of Mid-Autumn mascot models; decoration and display of the “Toy Workshop”; an AI storytelling competition; artistic performances, Dragon & Lion dances; a “Lady Hang and Uncle Cuoi” skit; and traditional Mid-Autumn feast sharing.

The “Lady Hang and Uncle Cuoi” skit brings a meaningful Mid-Autumn atmosphere.

On this occasion, provincial leaders alongside departments, boards, and branches presented many meaningful gifts to local children; the People’s Committee of Hoa Binh Ward presented 20 gift packages to children in difficult circumstances, encouraging and inspiring them to excel in their studies and life.

The Program Organizing Committee awarded prizes to outstanding units, organizations, and individuals in various competitions: Mid-Autumn mascot model design, “Toy Workshop” decoration and display, and AI storytelling. These meaningful activities served to create a useful playground, encourage creativity, and contribute to preserving and spreading traditional cultural values.
