Officially kicking off on the morning of April 3 in the Ancestral Land of Phu Tho, the 38th National Cycling Tournament - Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup 2026, themed Mountains and Rivers as One, gathered 16 of the nation’s top teams. Immediately following the opening ceremony, the cyclists engaged in dramatic laps around Van Lang Park, “igniting” the atmosphere of central Viet Tri with high speeds and breathtaking chases.
The tournament features a route of over 2,700km with 25 stages passing through numerous provinces and cities nationwide, finishing in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30, 2026. Commencing this journey in Phu Tho not only honors historical values but also serves to promote the image of a hospitable and potential-filled Ancestral Land to domestic and international friends.
