Handing Over Premises and Land of Former Viet Tri City Sports and Physical Training Center to Ministry of Public Security

On October 22, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee to organize the Handover Ceremony of premises and land of the former Viet Tri City Sports and Physical Training Center from the Viet Tri Ward People’s Committee to the Ministry of Public Security for management and usage.

Attending the handover ceremony, from the Ministry of Public Security were Comrades: Senior Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc — Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security; Major General Ha Van Tuyen — Director of the Department of Construction Management and Barracks; Senior Colonel Tran Dinh Duc — Deputy Commander of Mobile Police; alongside representatives from professional units under the Ministry of Public Security.

From Phu Tho province were Comrades: Tran Duy Dong — Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Major General Nguyen Minh Tuan — Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Police Department; alongside leaders of several departments, sectors, and units.

Implementing Decision No. 3632/QD-UBND dated October 19, 2026, issued by the Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee on transferring public assets, the premises and land of the former Viet Tri City Sports and Physical Training Center (Bao Da Stadium) were handed over to the Ministry of Public Security to be arranged as a stationing location for the Mobile Police Command. Transferred assets comprise land area and 11 structural items on the land.

According to the handover agreement, the Viet Tri Ward People’s Committee coordinates with the Phu Tho Area Project Management Board to conduct full handovers of relevant records and documents in accordance with legal regulations.

Regarding remaining assets and architectural structures on the land, local authorities will continue coordinating with specialized agencies to urgently handle lingering issues, urging dismantling and finalizing site clearance—guaranteeing legal and field conditions for receiving work.

The transfer and handover of these premises and land carry vital significance, contributing to concretizing Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW dated March 16, 2022, of the Politburo on stepping up building a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern People’s Public Security force, fulfilling requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Concurrently, the event affirms the close and effective coordination relationship between Phu Tho province and the Ministry of Public Security in securing physical infrastructure serving armed forces stationed in the area—contributing to maintaining political security, social order, and safety locally and regionally.
