Improving the effectiveness of international economic integration

In recent times, the province has had many mechanisms and policies to promote international economic integration to make the best of the internal resources, attract external resources to invest in the locality, and create motivation for economic development in the province.

Practical implementation shows that international economic integration in the province has achieved positive results. The province has actively organized direct investment promotion with large companies and economic groups in the world, helping to expand and enhance the value of foreign investment flows. In 2023, the province will attract 102 new additional capital projects, of which 83 domestic investment projects with a registered capital of nearly 6,900 billion VND, 19 foreign investment projects with a registered capital of 218.1 million USD. The work of building and developing human resources and trade promotion is of interest, thereby creating conditions for accessing and penetrating new markets, opening up opportunities to promote the export of advantageous products of the province to foreign markets. In the province, there are currently more than 290 enterprises with import and export activities. In 2023, export value in the province will reach 10.4 billion USD, ranking the 9th out of 63 provinces and cities in the country.

Vocational training has followed the trend of connecting with social needs, promoting the development of human resources with vocational skills, meeting the requirements of businesses, especially foreign-invested enterprises. To date, the rate of trained and vocationally trained workers in the province has reached over 70%, of which trained workers with degrees and certificates reach more than 29%. The business investment environment continues to improve, all levels and functional branches of the province increase support for businesses to improve competitiveness and develop brands; promptly remove difficulties and policy obstacles to develop domestic raw material sources, help businesses meet rules of origin, and better take advantage of opportunities brought about by FTA free trade agreements.
