In 9 Months, Phu Tho’s Export Turnover Reached Over 39.3 Billion USD
In the first 9 months of 2026, the province’s export turnover reached over 39.3 billion USD, equivalent to 99.6% of the annual plan and an increase of 48.9% compared to the same period last year. Import turnover reached nearly 56.5 billion USD, equivalent to 146.7% of the annual plan and nearly 2.8 times higher than the same period last year.

In the third quarter alone, total import-export turnover reached approximately 40.7 billion USD; of which exports reached over 15 billion USD, and imports reached 25.7 billion USD.
The sharp rise in import-export activity was linked to the expansion of production by enterprises, particularly in the processing and manufacturing sector and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprises.
Many key industrial products maintained good growth rates, with laptops increasing by 34.3%; electronic components by 34.1%; cement by 16.7%; animal feed by 8.4%...
In the coming time, Phu Tho will continue to support enterprises in expanding markets, taking advantage of free trade agreements; stepping up trade promotion, supply-demand matching, and enhancing the capacity of local enterprises to participate in global supply chains.
