On the very first day of the new year, businesses, workers, and farmers are cherishing the opportunities before them, striving with greater effort and determination to achieve their production and business goals from the very first moments of 2025.
Workers at Gemmy Wood Joint Stock Company (Tan Phu Industrial Cluster, Tan Son District) are competing to meet production deadlines and ensure timely order completion right at the start of the new year.
Looking back at the production and business activities of enterprises over the past year, despite facing numerous difficulties and challenges, they were able to maintain stability and achieve moderate growth by leveraging existing advantages and combining them with favorable policies and mechanisms to encourage and support investment. Since the second half of 2024, many businesses have been working hard to reach new markets and seek partners to set a strong foundation for the new year.
At the industrial parks and clusters, which serve as the province’s growth engine for industry, goods are being loaded and unloaded in a bustling manner in preparation for Tet orders and welcoming the new year. Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thuy Van Industrial Park, Viet Tri City), specializing in export garments, saw a positive shift in its operations in 2024, with many orders returning, ensuring jobs for over 3,000 workers, with an average monthly income of over 7 million VND per person.
Ms. Pham Thi Anh Ngoc, President of the Trade Union at the company, stated: “In order to retain workers and ensure they are committed to production, contributing to the company’s success, the company focuses on creating a professional working environment, caring for employees' well-being, and launching competitions from the very beginning of the year. This helps workers improve their productivity, efficiency, and sense of responsibility, as they join in the effort to produce right from the start of the new year. It sets a favorable foundation to increase production, enhancing both business performance and workers' livelihoods.”
At Hoang Gia Joint Stock Company (Han Cu Commune, Thanh Ba District), specializing in the production of building bricks with an annual capacity of approximately 40 million bricks, Mr. Nguyen Cong Kien, the company’s production director, shared: “In the final days of 2024, we had to work overtime on production lines to ensure timely delivery for our partners. Recently, the company has invested in technology and automated many processes, including the use of robots in several production stages, which has increased both productivity and product quality. To meet the targets for 2025, we have developed specific weekly and monthly plans and intensified production to meet order deadlines, fostering smooth coordination across departments. We continue to implement technical solutions, introduce new technologies into production, and gradually improve efficiency, product design, and quality to build trust with our partners while constantly seeking new markets and orders.”
The vibrant, urgent labor momentum, “catching the rhythm” right from the start of the new year, is a promising signal, heralding new achievements in production and contributing to the completion of the economic and social development goals set for the year.
