Over 32,000 Visitors Attend Hung Kings Festival During the Last Weekend

Over the last weekend after the opening of the festival, more than 32,000 visitors from all over the country traveled to the Hung Kings Historical Relic Site to offer incense in tribute to their ancestors and participate in the festival activities.

According to the statistics from the Organizing Committee for the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary and The Fatherland Culture - Tourism Week 2025, on the opening day, March 29 (the 1st of the 3rd lunar month), the Hung Kings Historical Relic Site welcomed around 12,000 visitors, with more than 800 cars and 700 motorbikes.

On March 30 (the 2nd of the 3rd lunar month), the number of visitors surged to around 20,000, with approximately 1,300 cars and 3,500 motorbikes transporting people from across the country to the festival.

Despite the cold weather and light rain on the weekend, the event still attracted a large crowd of people and tourists. To ensure security and order, the provincial police implemented traffic diversion plans in advance, preventing congestion and deployed forces at key locations.
