On January 16, Ms. Bui Thi Minh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee – received and worked with a delegation from the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group (Petrovietnam), led by Mr. Do Chi Thanh, Vice President of the Group.
Petrovietnam leaders present 1 billion VND to support Phu Tho province in implementing the “Tet for the Poor” program for 2026.
During the working session, the Petrovietnam delegation presented a total of over 1.7 billion VND to assist Phu Tho province in its “Tet for the Poor” activities for 2026. Specifically, 1 billion VND was allocated to the province’s general “Tet for the Poor” fund. The remaining funds were distributed to several communes: Dan Chu (220 million VND), Ha Hoa (200 million VND), Hien Luong (200 million VND), and Tram Than (150 million VND).

Promoting the tradition of mutual affection, in 2025, Petrovietnam dedicated over 1,300 billion VND to social welfare activities across various localities nationwide. In Phu Tho province alone (including the former provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, and Hoa Binh), the Group implemented social security programs totaling 149.6 billion VND during the 2020–2025 period.
Speaking at the event, Vice President Do Chi Thanh expressed his hope that the Group’s support would effectively accompany the authorities and people of Phu Tho in their social welfare efforts, especially as the 2026 Lunar New Year approaches.

Deputy Secretary and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Ms. Bui Thi Minh, sincerely thanked Petrovietnam for its concern and support. She affirmed that this is a practical and meaningful encouragement, providing Phu Tho with additional resources to care for the poor and ensure that disadvantaged families across the province can enjoy a warm and sufficient Lunar New Year.

The Deputy Secretary expressed her wish that in the coming time, Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group would continue to care for and accompany the province in social welfare activities, contributing to the overall development of the locality.
