Phu Tho athletes win the Gold Medal at the Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival
On the 5th day of competition at the 13th Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation won 7 Gold Medals in Athletics, Pencak silat and Badminton. Among them, athlete Ha Thi Thuy Hang (from Phu Tho) excellently won a Gold Medal in Athletics.
At the final round of the Long Jump event held on the afternoon of June 4, athlete Ha Thi Thuy Hang competed calmly and confidently against athletes from Singapore and Thailand to win the Gold Medal with an impressive score of 5.92m. Athlete Le Thi Nhu Quynh won the Silver Medal with a score of 5.82m. The remaining Bronze Medal belonged to athlete Chloe Chee En-ya from Singapore with a score of 5.81m.
Tomorrow, June 6, the young girl from Tan Son Ha Thi Thuy Hang will continue to compete in the Triple Jump event in Athletics with the hope of continuing to bring Gold to the Vietnam Sports Delegation.
