Phu Tho attended the conference of Northwest - Ho Chi Minh City tourism promotion
On December 4, a conference of Northwest - Ho Chi Minh City tourism promotion took place in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the opening event of a series of activities for the Northwest and Ho Chi Minh City Culture and Tourism Week in 2023.
In 2023, the tourism development cooperation program between 8 expanded Northwest provinces and Ho Chi Minh City has achieved many good results. Through cultural and tourism events, joint tourism promotion programs and tourism human resource training and tourism investment promotion, members of the Cooperation Group have proactively and actively issued plans, organized and participated in annual tourism promotion events and planned events such as: Northwest Tourism Fair in Phu Tho province on the occasion of Hung Kings’ Commemoration and the Culture and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land; Orchid Tree Festival 2023 and the 7th Festival of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ethnic Minorities in Dien Bien province; Northwest Tourism and Culture Week in Can Tho city; Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival; Festival: "Essence of the Northwest - connecting green aspirations 2023"; Northwest Tourism and Culture Week at Hanoi International Tourism Fair; Northwest Culture and Tourism Week in Luang Pra Bang province (Laos People's Democratic Republic)...
At the conference, delegates discussed solutions to link tourism development between the Northwest provinces and Ho Chi Minh City, tourism advertising and promotion, and mechanisms to encourage cooperation between businesses; and introduced unique and attractive tourist destinations.
